ABOUT THE MARITIME COURSE DEPARTMENT

The purpose of the course department is to provide the courses required in our educations. 

In addition, the school provides supplementary training and courses for navigators, engineers and others who are in the maritime industry. For example, for the Faroese fishing industry or the merchant fleet. The school also provides courses for officers in the Danish merchant fleet as well as for officers on foreign vessels.

The course department has qualified licensed instructors with special knowledge in their field. The instructors are for the most part teachers on the school, but can also be from a relevant labour market.
